	All images were captured digitally. They represent places or things that spoke to me in some way, so I guess you might say that they were captured emotionally as well. Every effort was made to present how I felt at the time the shutter was released. It is my desire that this feeling may be conveyed to you. To do so would mark a great sense of accomplishment for me. In reality, I have not made the mountain or tree, nor have I painted a single leaf or petal. In the end, I have not made any of these beautiful places or things. I may only claim to have been there and to have experienced them. I hope that you enjoy these images.
	The Appalachian Highlands Series        slide show (11) This series was inspired by timelessness of the Appalachian highlands. The images in this series attempt to capture the feeling of the high Appalachians in a variety of artistic styles. These images were taken primarily in the Smoky and the Blue Ridge Mountains but span an area from North Carolina to West Virginia. The Southern Appalachians        slide show (29) The Appalachian range dips deep into the south bringing the world's oldest mountains near enough to access in a day. The mountains have long been my siren's song. South Carolina        slide show (10) A lifetime native of South Carolina -- I have always had a great appreciation of the beauty of this state.
