A trip to Acadia National Park in Maine highlighted October. Despite some rainy and windy conditions, I was able to come away with some images of fall foliage and some coastal scenics. The fog and color combined to make some very interesting intimate landscapes and close-ups. An excursion to the Lakota Wolf Preserve in Columbia, NJ provided a great opportunity to photograph arctic, timber, tundra, and British Columbia wolves, as well as, bobcats and foxes. Thanks to Jim & Becky for their hospitality.

I hope that these images inspire you to get out and enjoy nature...to take notice of the wonders around you. I am certain that once you do, you'll agree that its value is beyond measure...something worth protecting.
